This standard specifies the manufacturing requirements for seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes used in pipeline transportation systems in the oil and gas industry, with two product specifications (PSL1 and PSL2).
This standard applies to seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes used for oil and gas transportation.
This standard does not apply to cast iron pipes.
