This part of GB/T 3099 specifies the terminology and definitions of coating/plating layers on fasteners used for anti-corrosion and functional purposes.
This part applies to the surface treatment process of fasteners and the standardization of coating/plating terminology for fasteners throughout their entire life cycle.
The terminology specified in this part is used in conjunction with GB/T 5267.1, GB/T 5267.2, and GB/T 5267.3.
Appendix A provides an alphabetical index in multiple languages.
