Abstract
This standard specifies the method for determining the content of vinyl chloride monomer in polyvinyl chloride plastics used in food contact applications.
This standard is applicable to the determination of vinyl chloride monomer in polyvinyl chloride or vinyl chloride copolymers that come into contact with food.
The lower limit for the determination of vinyl chloride in this standard is 0.50 mg/kg.
