Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements for equipment and materials, reagents and culture media, operating procedures, result observation and recording, quality control and result determination, and strain preservation and biosafety measures in the monitoring of bacterial resistance during the breeding of livestock and poultry.
This standard is applicable to the isolation and identification of bacteria from livestock and poultry sources (Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Enterococcus spp., and Staphylococcus aureus) and common antimicrobial susceptibility tests (microdilution broth method).
