GB/T 609-2006 Chemical reagent—General method for the determination of total nitrogen
Abstract
This standard specifies a general method for converting inorganic nitrogen compounds into ammonium salts and determining them by visual colorimetry with Nessler's reagent. This standard is applicable to the determination of the total amount of trace inorganic nitrogen compounds (including nitrates, nitrites, and ammonium salts) in chemical reagents. The detection range is 0.05 μg/mL to 0.8 μg/mL (calculated in terms of N).
