Abstract
This standard specifies the principles, testing equipment, sample preparation, and testing methods for the tensile mechanical properties of single short plant fibers.
This standard is applicable to the measurement of single short plant fibers with a length of 1.2 mm to 5.0 mm (such as bamboo, wood, rattan, and jute, flax, and other hemp fibers). The tensile mechanical properties of single short plant fibers of other lengths can also be measured in accordance with this standard.
