GB/T 19510.202-2023 Controlgear for electric light sources—Part 2-2:Particular requirements for d.c. or a.c. supplied electronic step-down convertors for filament lamps
Abstract
This document specifies the special safety requirements for electronic step-down converters used with halogen lamps and other tungsten filament lamps as described in IEC 60357. Such electronic step-down converters use a DC power supply of no more than 250 V or an AC power supply of no more than 1,000 V at a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz. The rated output voltage between wires or between any wire and the ground wire does not exceed 50 V (effective value). Its operating frequency is different from the power supply frequency, or it does not exceed 120 V ripple-free DC voltage. Note: The limit value of 50 V rated output voltage meets the requirements of voltage zone I in GB/T 18379-2001. The special requirements for electronic step-down converters equipped with overheat protection devices are given in Appendix C. The special supplementary requirements for Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV) converters are given in Appendix I. The performance requirements are given in IEC 61047. As an insertable converter used as a lamp component, it is considered an installed converter, subject to the additional requirements of the lamp standard.
