Abstract
This standard specifies the test method for determining the resistance of vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber to fatigue cracking and crack growth using a Demag type testing machine. This standard is applicable to determining the resistance of vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber to fatigue cracking and crack growth after repeated flexing. To determine the resistance to crack growth, an artificial cut should be made on the sample in advance to initiate crack growth.
