GB 7258-2012 Safety specifications for power-driven vehicles operating on roads
Abstract
This standard specifies the basic technical requirements for the operation safety of motor vehicles, including the whole vehicle, main assemblies, and safety protection devices, as well as additional requirements for fire engines, ambulances, engineering rescue vehicles, police cars, and special vehicles for the disabled.
This standard applies to all motor vehicles driving on roads in China, but it does not apply to trams and wheeled special-purpose machinery vehicles that are not designed and manufactured for driving and use on roads, and are mainly used for operations and construction on closed roads and sites.
