GB/T 28300-2012 Surface quality classes for hot-rolled bars and rods technical delivery conditions
Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, designations, requirements, testing, and finishing for the surface quality of hot-rolled bars and coils.
This standard applies to the surface quality grades of hot-rolled bars and coils with nominal sizes ranging from 5 mm to 150 mm. Upon mutual agreement between the supplier and the purchaser, it can also be applied to hot-rolled bars and coils with nominal sizes greater than 150 mm.
This standard is applicable to engineering steel, and upon mutual agreement between the supplier and the purchaser, it can also be applied to structural steel or tool steel.
This standard does not include requirements for the depth of the surface decarburization layer.
