This part of GB/T 12668 specifies the energy efficiency indicators for complete drive modules (CDM), electrical drive systems (PDS), motor starters, and all driven equipment.
This part specifies the loss determination methods for complete drive modules (CDM), electrical drive systems (PDS), and motor systems.
This part defines the IE/IES grades of motor systems and their limits, and provides corresponding test steps for grading the overall loss of motor systems.
In addition, this part proposes a method for implementing the best energy efficiency solution for drive systems. This method relies on the architecture of the motor drive system, the speed/load relationship curve, and the operating point of the driven equipment over time.
GB/T 12668.901—2021 defines the extended product method and the semi-analytical model.
The structure of this part is as follows:
——Give the standardized reference electrical drive system (RPDS) and standardized reference complete drive module (RCDM) losses, establish a mathematical model to calculate their losses, and divide them into grades;
——Define the reference motor (RM) and reference complete drive module (RCDM), and use them to determine the IE grade of the entire motor system when one component of the motor system is unknown;
——Give the requirements for determining the actual losses of the electrical drive system (PDS) and the actual complete drive module (CDM), and compare them with the reference electrical drive system (RPDS) and the reference complete drive module (RCDM);
——Give the requirements for type testing and user documentation;
——The appendix gives examples to explain some losses of the entire system;
