GB/T 20645-2021 Active

This standard specifies the supplementary technical requirements common to low-voltage electrical equipment in plateau environments, including definitions, relevant information on the electrical equipment, structural and performance requirements, characteristics, and test methods.
This standard applies to low-voltage electrical equipment installed at altitudes of more than 2,000 m to 5,000 m, which is used to connect circuits with a rated voltage of not more than 1,000 V AC or 1,500 V DC.
This standard does not apply to low-voltage switchgear and control equipment specified in GB/T 7251 (all parts).
Note 1: The low-voltage electrical equipment referred to in this standard is the products covered by standards such as GB/T 14048 (all parts), GB/T 13539 (all parts), GB/T 10963 (all parts), GB/T 16916 (all parts), and GB/T 16917 (all parts).
Note 2: Low-voltage electrical equipment installed at altitudes exceeding 5,000 m shall be designed or used in accordance with the agreement between the manufacturer and the user.
Note 3: Electrical equipment with a rated AC voltage of 1,140 V may be implemented in accordance with this standard. The performance and other requirements of the relevant electrical equipment shall be determined through consultation between the manufacturer and the user.
