Abstract
This standard specifies the methods for detecting, grading, and evaluating the overall quality of two-dimensional barcode symbols in stacked and matrix formats, and provides possible reasons for deviations from the optimal grade and corresponding corrective measures.
This standard is applicable to the inspection of the printing quality of two-dimensional barcode symbols for which the reference decoding algorithm has been provided in the two-dimensional barcode code system specification. Its methods can also be partially or fully applied to the inspection of two-dimensional barcode symbols of other code systems.
