GB/T 5480-2017 Test methods for mineral wool and its products
Abstract
This standard specifies the relevant terms and definitions, test conditions, sample selection, test methods, and test records for the verticality, flatness, dimensions, bulk density, average fiber diameter, slag ball content, acidity coefficient, moisture absorption, oil content, water absorption, organic matter content, and heat load shrinkage temperature of mineral wool and its products. This standard applies to the determination of various performance characteristics of glass wool, rock wool, slag wool, and aluminum silicate wool and their products. Other insulation materials can also refer to and use this standard. The moisture absorption test is only applicable to uncoated products.
