GB/T 6505-2017 Man-made fiber—Test method for thermal shrinkage of filament yarns(after treatment）
Abstract
This standard specifies the test methods for the boiling water shrinkage rate and dry hot air shrinkage rate of chemical fiber filaments (after processing) - the twisting method and the single-filament method. The twisting method provides two methods of manual measurement and instrument measurement. In case of dispute, manual measurement shall be used. This standard is applicable to chemical fiber filaments with a linear density of less than 3,000 dtex. This standard is not applicable to pre-oriented filaments.
