Abstract
This part of GB/T 14598 applies to measuring relays and protection devices used in power system protection, including control, monitoring, communication, and process interface devices used with these devices.
This part specifies the electromagnetic compatibility requirements for measuring relays and protection devices.
For devices that do not contain electronic circuits, such as electromechanical relays, the tests specified in this part are not required.
The requirements of this part apply to new measuring relays and protection devices, and all tests specified herein are only for type testing.
