GB/T 1222-2025 Spring steels
Abstract
This document specifies the ordering content, manufacturing process, technical requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, and quality certificates for spring steel.
This document is applicable to spring steel round bars and square bars with a nominal diameter or side length not exceeding 180 mm, spring steel flat bars with a nominal width not exceeding 180 mm and a nominal thickness not exceeding 70 mm, and spring steel wire with a nominal diameter not exceeding 40 mm (hereinafter collectively referred to as "steel"). The grades and chemical compositions of steel ingots, billets, and their products shall be referred to for implementation.
