This document specifies the classification and designations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, quality certificates, packaging, and transportation of cold-rolled work rolls, intermediate rolls, and support roll blanks for metal sheet and strip mills. This document applies to cold-rolled work rolls, intermediate rolls, and support roll blanks for metal sheet and strip mills. Other forged steel roll blanks shall be implemented in accordance with this document.
