Abstract
This section is one of a series of standards related to the sampling and testing of color paints, varnishes, and related products.
This section specifies a method for determining the equivalent spherical particle size distribution of powder coatings using laser diffraction. This section is applicable to powder coatings with a particle size range of 1 μm to 300 μm.
This method is only applicable to the determination of dry powders.
