Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation, and storage for industrial-use solid sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide packed in steel drums with a nominal volume of 110 L (hereinafter referred to as solid alkali drums). This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of steel drums used to contain industrial-use solid sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide.
