Abstract
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of anhydrous lithium chloride products. This standard applies to anhydrous lithium chloride produced by the conversion method using lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide monohydrate, or lithium-containing brine as raw materials. This product is used for welding, materials, air conditioning equipment, and the production of metallic lithium, among other applications.
