Abstract
This standard specifies the definition, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of pressure-surge water supply equipment (hereinafter referred to as "equipment") for pipe networks.
This standard applies to pressure-surge water supply equipment for pipe networks in domestic water supply, production water supply, and fire-fighting water supply systems.
