This part of GB/T 16296 specifies the methods, steps, and requirements for determining the hearing thresholds of pure tone air conduction and bone conduction. For screening hearing tests, only the method of pure tone air conduction testing is specified.
This method may not be suitable for special populations, such as very young children.
This part does not include methods for hearing tests at sound levels above the subject's hearing threshold.
This part does not specify methods and requirements for speech hearing tests, electrophysiological hearing tests, and hearing tests using speakers as sound sources.
