This part of YY 0271 specifies the technical requirements and test methods for dental powder/liquid acid-base water-based sealants used for permanent retention, base preparation, or lining, and restoration. It also applies to hand-mixed water-based sealants or mechanically mixed capsule water-based sealants. In addition, this part points out the limitations of their respective performance and characteristics according to whether they are intended to be used as bonding or sealing sealants, base preparation or lining sealants, or restoration sealants.
