GB/T 15579.1-2024 Arc welding equipment—Part 1:Welding power sources
Abstract
This document applies to arc welding and similar processes using power supplies designed for industrial and professional purposes, powered by a voltage not exceeding 1,000 V, battery-powered, or driven by mechanical equipment. This document specifies the safety and performance requirements for arc welding power supplies and plasma cutting systems. This document does not apply to arc welding and cutting power supplies designed primarily for non-professional users and in accordance with IEC 609746. This document includes requirements for battery-powered welding power supplies and battery packs, see Appendix O. This document does not apply to the inspection of welding power supplies that are currently in the maintenance cycle or have just undergone repairs.
