Abstract
This document describes a method for determining the silicon content in iron, steel, high-temperature alloys, and precision alloys using the gravimetric method.
This document is suitable for determining silicon content with a mass fraction ranging from 0.10% to 6.00%.
Note: For samples containing molybdenum, niobium, tantalum, titanium, tungsten, zirconium, or high-content chromium, the accuracy of the results is lower than that for non-alloy matrices.
