Abstract
This standard specifies the model naming, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and accompanying documents for electronic linear accelerators used in non-destructive testing. This standard applies to electronic linear accelerators with an energy range of 1 MeV to 15 MeV used in non-destructive testing, including those used as radiation sources for X-ray photography or imaging, and industrial computed tomography inspections.
