Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, labeling, storage, and transportation of cotton slow-release compound fertilizers. This standard applies to cotton slow-release fertilizers produced using compound fertilizer technology and mainly used in the cotton-growing areas of the Yangtze River Basin and the Yellow River Basin. This standard does not apply to inorganic coated fertilizers such as sulfur-coated urea (SCU), urea-formaldehyde slow-release fertilizers, and stable fertilizers that use nitrification inhibitors or urease inhibitors to delay the conversion of nutrient forms.
