GB/T 3480.5-2021 Calculation of load capacity of spur and helical gears—Part 5:Strength and quality of materials
Abstract
This document provides the limit values for tooth surface contact strength and tooth root bending strength, and also provides recommended values. The document also specifies the technical requirements for material quality and heat treatment, and explains their impact on strength limits. The recommended values in this document are applicable to strength calculations in ISO 63362, ISO 63363, and ISO 63366, and are suitable for industrial gears, high-speed gears, and marine gear products. They can also be used for calculating the bearing capacity of bevel gears in ISO 10300. This document can be used for the meshing states, basic gear profiles, profile parameters, and structural design involved in the aforementioned standards, and the calculation results are highly consistent with those obtained using ISO 63361 and ISO 103001.
