Abstract
This document specifies the energy efficiency limits and technical requirements for energy efficiency grades of heat pumps and chillers, describes the corresponding test methods, and clarifies the implementation of this document. The types of heat pumps and chillers applicable to this document include vapor compression cycle cooling (heat pump) units, low ambient temperature air-source heat pumps (chillers), water (ground) source heat pump units, lithium bromide absorption cooling (heating) water units, vapor compression cycle high-temperature heat pump units, indirect evaporative cooling chillers, and integrated cooling (heat pump) units.
