Scope

This standard specifies the flow chemical analysis methods for inorganic nitrogen and reactive phosphate in seawater. This method is suitable for the determination of inorganic nitrogen and reactive phosphate in seawater in oceans, near-shore waters, and estuaries. The determination range of ammonia nitrogen is 0.005 mg/L-N to 1.0 mg/L-N; the determination ranges of nitrate nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen are 0.005 mg/L-N to 1.0 mg/L-N and 0.004 mg/L-N to 0.1 mg/L-N, respectively; and the determination range of reactive phosphate is 0.0024 mg/L-P to 0.30 mg/L-P.
