This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, storage, and transportation for rubber sheets made from natural rubber, including smoking rubber sheets, white crepe rubber sheets, and light-colored crepe rubber sheets. This standard applies to smoking rubber sheets made from natural rubber latex through acid coagulation, pressing, and smoking drying. This standard applies to fresh coagulated natural rubber latex, which is processed through controlled production processes to produce white crepe rubber sheets and light-colored crepe rubber sheets with a surface crepe effect and a thickness that is approximately the same as that of the physical standard samples. This standard does not apply to rubber sheets made entirely or partially from rubber sap.
