Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, specifications and marking, conditions of use, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of electric garage door openers.
This standard applies to electric garage door openers for household and similar purposes (hereinafter referred to as "openers"), which are mainly used for sectional and integral garage doors. Electric garage door openers used in other places can also be used as a reference.
