Abstract
This part applies to replaceable light bulbs (filament light bulbs and discharge light bulbs) used in the headlights, fog lights, and signal lights of road motor vehicles. In particular, it applies to the light bulbs listed in IEC 60809. This part also applies to other light bulbs and light sources currently existing and to be developed within this category, such as light sources illuminated by light-emitting diodes (LEDs).
