GB/T 6400-2007 Metallic materials—Shear test method for wires and rivets
Abstract
This standard specifies the principles, definitions, symbols, and explanations of the double shear test for metal wires and rivets, as well as the specimens and their dimensional measurements, testing equipment, performance determination, and test reports. This standard is applicable to determining the shear strength of metal wires and rivets at room temperature to 700°C, with a diameter not exceeding 6 mm (or not exceeding 10 mm for materials with lower shear strength).
