The chapter of GB/T 4706.1-2024 is replaced by the following content.
This document relates to the safety of cosmetic and beauty care appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V, which operate by contact with the skin, and are intended for household and similar purposes, and contain lasers or strong light sources.
Note 101: Battery-driven appliances and other DC-powered appliances are within the scope of this document. Dual-power appliances (either powered by the grid or by batteries) are considered battery-powered appliances when operating in battery mode.
