Abstract
The requirements of this document apply to construction and demolition sites during construction and demolition operations, and to devices that are dismantled after the completion of the operations. Examples include: — the construction of new buildings; — the repair, modification, expansion, or demolition of existing buildings or parts thereof; — engineering construction; — earthwork; — projects of a similar nature. The requirements of this document apply to fixed or portable devices. These requirements do not apply to devices in management areas of construction sites (such as offices, cloakrooms, conference rooms, canteens, dining rooms, dormitories, and toilets).
