This standard specifies the data types of participant identifiers in the fields of learning, education, and training. This standard does not include personal information security and privacy protection related to the use of participant identifiers. This standard also does not include naming strategies, registration, and authentication of participant identifiers. Note: The use of participant identifiers may easily lead to inappropriate access and misuse of personal privacy information. Implementers need to ensure the correct use of participant identifiers.
