GB/T 15969.2-2024 Programmable controllers—Part 2:Equipment requirements and tests
Abstract
This document specifies the functions, electromagnetic compatibility requirements, and related verification tests for the following industrial control equipment:
—— Programmable logic controllers (PLCs);
—— Programmable automation controllers (PACs);
—— Remote I/O;
—— Programming and debugging tools (PADTs);
—— Industrial PCs and industrial panel PCs;
—— Display devices and human-machine interfaces (HMIs) intended for industrial use;
—— Distributed control systems (DCS) and DCS components listed in this scope;
—— Any products primarily used to perform the functions of industrial control equipment, including PLCs and/or PACs, and/or their associated peripherals, which are intended for controlling and commanding machines, automated manufacturing, and industrial processes, such as discrete, batch, and continuous control.
In this document, "control equipment" is equivalent to "industrial control equipment," as is the relationship between programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and programmable automation controllers (PACs).
