GB/T 1040.1-2018 Plastics—Determination of tensile properties—Part 1:General principles
Abstract
This part of GB/T 1040 specifies the general principles for determining the tensile properties of plastics and composite materials under specified conditions, and prescribes several specimens of different shapes for use with different types of materials, which are described in detail in other parts of this standard.
This method is used to study the tensile properties of specimens and determine the tensile strength, tensile modulus, and other aspects of the tensile stress/strain relationship under specified conditions.
