This section provides the general principles that should be followed for lightning protection of the following objects: - Buildings (including their facilities, internal objects, and people); - Service facilities connected to buildings. The following situations are not within the scope of this section: - Railway systems; - Vehicles, ships, aircraft, offshore facilities; - Underground high-pressure pipelines; - Pipelines, power lines, and communication lines not connected to buildings.
