Abstract
This standard specifies the method for determining the arsenic content in pulp, paper, and cardboard.
This standard applies to various types of pulp, paper, and cardboard that can be dissolved by nitric acid.
This standard provides two methods for determining the arsenic content, namely, hydride atomic fluorescence spectrometry and silver salt colorimetry. The detection limit depends on the detection instrument used. In this standard, the detection limit is about 0.01 mg/kg when measured using a dual-channel atomic fluorescence spectrometer, and the detection limit of silver salt colorimetry is 0.5 mg/kg.
