This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, quality assessment, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of lithium-ion batteries and battery packs for mobile phones.
This standard applies to lithium-ion batteries (hereinafter referred to as "batteries") and battery packs (hereinafter referred to as "battery packs") for mobile phones.
Other lithium-ion batteries and battery packs used in mobile communication terminal products can be implemented with reference to this standard.
