Abstract
This part of GB/T 17431 specifies the general provisions, sampling, particle gradation (screen analysis), bulk density, apparent density, voidage, cylinder compression strength, strength rating, water absorption, softening coefficient, grain shape coefficient, clay content and clay block content, boiling mass loss, ash content, sulfide and sulfate content, and organic matter content for testing lightweight aggregates used in concrete.
This part is applicable to the quality inspection of lightweight aggregates used in concrete. Lightweight aggregates of other types and for other purposes can also be used as reference.
