Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements for hard alloy teeth used in drill bits for mines and oil fields, as well as the inspection rules, test methods, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and the contents of purchase orders (or contracts). This standard applies to the hard alloy drill teeth blanks used in cone drill bits, down-the-hole drill bits, and other drill bits used in mine excavation and oil extraction.
