Abstract
This standard specifies the classification and naming, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, transportation, and storage of marine rotating motors (hereinafter referred to as marine motors). It also covers spare parts and warranty periods. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of all types of marine motors (including mobile and fixed offshore devices), excluding miniature control motors.
