Abstract
This standard specifies the method for determining the residual vinyl chloride monomer in vinyl chloride homopolymers and copolymers.
This method is based on static headspace gas chromatography technology (i.e., analyzing the gas phase in equilibrium with the solid phase at a constant temperature), and is suitable for various powdered vinyl chloride homopolymers and copolymers.
The residual vinyl chloride monomer in composites, granules, extrudates, and films is determined using GB/T 4615.
