Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions for measuring the surface heat loss of equipment and pipelines' insulation layers on-site using the heat flux meter method and the surface temperature method, the installation of measuring instruments and sensors, the selection of measurement sections, the on-site measurement conditions, the measurement steps of the heat flux meter method, the measurement steps of the surface temperature method, and the calculation of results, data processing, and the method and requirements for determining the surface heat (cold) loss of the insulation layer using heat flux density, including the selection of measuring instruments, measurement points, operation, and data processing, etc. This standard is applicable to on-site evaluation of the insulation performance of equipment and pipelines' insulation layers under normal operating conditions.
