GB/T 14480.3-2008 Non-destructive testing—Equipment for eddy current examination—Part 3:System characteristics and verification
Abstract
This part of GB/T 14480 specifies the performance of general eddy current detection systems and provides methods for measuring and testing their performance. It allows for clear and detailed descriptions and comparisons of eddy current detection equipment to evaluate the performance of detection systems. For specialized applications, the performance of the system can be designed to be consistent and effective through careful selection. When using auxiliary equipment, the principles of this part of GB/T 14480 should be applied for characterization. This part does not provide performance test indicators or specify acceptance criteria. These are provided in the application technical documents.
