GB/T 20840.14-2022 Instrument transformers—Part 14:Additional requirements for current transformers for DC applications
Abstract
This document specifies the terms and definitions, rated values, design and structure, and test requirements for all supplementary technical requirements of direct current current transformers (DCCTs) that use any technology to output either analog or digital signals.
This document applies to newly manufactured current transformers used for measurement, protection, and/or control in DC power systems with a rated voltage greater than 1.5 kV.
Note 1: Figure 601 of GB/T 20840.6—2017 describes the general configuration of single-pole low-power current transformers.
This document does not apply to DCCTs used for current measurement in VSC valve transistor branches (referred to as CT4a and CT4b in Figure 1403 and Table 1402).
Note 2: This will be considered in future revisions.
